Revit Version: 2019.2
I am trying to set the handrail extension at the top of a stair with continuous guardrail. Revit wants to extend the handrail beyond at the end of the railing extents.

That will not work. Your handrail has to be a separate rail object to stop short like that.

I do not understand why you would not want the handrail to extend to the last post. Beyond that, I do understand.

It's not required (in my jurisdiction) to extend beyond 12" of the last tread nose. Continuing the handrail at the top landing, the depth of the landing, is excessive.
Thanks for help guys! Much appreciated.
