Hello,
We are modeling a standing seam metal roof that will have the vertical seams continue into the eave. This will appear in the Revit model and the rendered view. How can I make this adjustment in the model material? The finish that is applied does not appear at eaves or rake. See attached.
Thank you.

I'm lost.....?
Not sure what you mean by into the eaves and rake. The roof should extend over the eaves and over the rake. But typically, it does not over the face of thes or under them.
Have you built your roof correctly so that it does that?

If I am understanding correctly you are wanting the metal roof to go down the fascia? You can accomplish this by going to Modify Tab -> Geometry -> Paint and select the material you want and then paint the edges of the roof. You can then align the patterns how you need.

Yes I want the roof finish in rendered image to go down the eave edge, rake and soffit. So it appears as one continuus finish. CAn I use the paint command for renderings? My rendered image of the roof is a jpeg file. Thank you.

Come on now....one of the great things about Revit or even CAD is you can try something and go backwards if needed. If you never learn that, then you will learn very lettle else.

Not sure I understand the question. The image of the standing seam roof finish is part of the rendered appearance of the roof finish (took scan of the roof finish and cropped it) and the walls have 1/2" reveals on stucco.
These are tonwhomes, each is a linked model.

"how did you make the walls?" - Select wall and click ATTACH TOP/BASE
