Wrong initial process. Read this:

Thank you for the link. Is there a way of removing the files? Also I did not insert the survey, but I see the link to it in the link manager, but it does not appear anywhere in my model. Not sure from where it comes. How can I remove it from the manager view?
Once again thank you.

Remove the liked files then re-insert correctly.
Not enough information on the linked survey. Was this a link in the CAD file?

Revit does not do this on its own..... somewhere you or somebody in your office has linked - inserted this and possibly hidden it. What does this new file have in common with the old one. Did you maybe start this new file from what you though was a bare bones of this other file? Think back to when you first noted this.
Things like this are very hard to ferret out. That is why users have to pay attention to their process.

Hi,
The file name is from an old survey. I use the standard Revit template when starting a new project. I the project [progresses, and I link any CDA file or insert a title block, this pops up. I checked the title block and the cad for any other link, and purge too. But it still stays there. If it is hidden, how can I find it? Thank you.
