Hi, I'm new to revit and i am running Revit LT, i have been following the trianing course on u tube by the Balkan Architect. i have added a curtain wall shopfront to my model, the problem is that it does not look at all like the one on the training video, it is not transparent and not showing anything trough the glass in 3d, also the transomes and mullions of the curtain wall are not showing. would this be caused because i am using LT. any help would be appreciated.

What tutorial are you watching? Link and a specific time on the video will be helpful. Also, could you upload your file, or at least screenshots?

It is not because of LT.

Transparency: tab into the panel itself. In the properties, make sure it is glazed, not solid. If it is glazed and material is glass, make sure your glass material has transparency applied to it.

Mullions: either, mullions are turned off in VG (visibility graphic overrides) or mullions are set to none in wall properties.

Having actual rvt file (not the whole thing, just the storefront) would make troubleshooting easier.

Let us know if you need any help checking those things above. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the help, managed to add the transomes and mullions, struggling to make the glass transparent, any chance you could let me know the path to alter this.

Hover your cursor over the edge of any panel and tab until it highlights. Click on it and check the material that is assigned to it – see pic.
