I've got some sections set up in the New Copnstruction phase, show complete, with a dark gray override for the cut patterns of new items. The issue i'm having is that I cannot get the layers of my walls, roofs, etc to show their layers. Is there something I am missing?

the detail level for the views are set to fine, and there is no graphic override for course in the v/g settings. 

I'm in Revit 2020
