Hello!
I drew handrails in dwg model space and I have 4 paper space sheets which I want to add to my revit sheets. Linking CAD adds everything in the model space, but what I want is to searately insert the sheets I prepared in dwg. I tried to convert them to pdf but don't know how to add pdf to revit. Can you please advise on how to deal with such problems? Thank you

You can insert the PDFs into AutoCAD and then import that into Revit.
If you have Revit 2020, you can insert the PDF directly into Revit.
But why do you set up the sheets in AutoCAD if you need them in Revit? Rather create similar sheets in Revit and then insert your CAD details as Detail items into a drafting view.

Thanks for the advise. I converted one sheet into pdf and inserted it in AutoCAD but when I insert this dwg to Revit it does not work. I am using Revit 2019 so can't directly insert pdf.

Are then your Sheets just 2D elements and not families with parameters?

Some of my sheets are from AutoCad which I insert in Legends first and then into the pages. Yes, they are 2D elements. I converted those drawings into jpeg and then inserted in revit. Not really a BIM approach

I guess it´s easier if you convert your autoCAD Sheet into a revit "Sheet" Family and link your CAD in drafting sheet. You have just advantage out of it.

Could you please clarify how to do this? How to convert cad sheet into revit sheet family? I have attached a snap of my paper space view.
P.S. Inserting the sheet as jpeg didn't work as planned as the quality of lines became poor.

Clarify your question. Do you really want a CAD sheet or do you want some views from a CAD sheet?

My question is related to the suggestion by previous user (Koleman).
I want to transfer into rvt what I drew in CAD, particularly what is shown in paper space (the sheet with multiple viewports with different scales). Otherwise I will have to rescale things in model space and they no longer will be 1:1 and insert as CAD into rvt which is not very efficient. Why can't revit simply export a sheet which is already composed in paper space.
