My family (a window casing) is like backwards. the placement side is the back? or the front? its a wall based family, so I draw the geometry on the placement side. but when I go to the 3d view, its backwards from the views...I cant seem to know where the "FRONt" of the family is...
im includung the family so far...i mean it works fine, just weirdly reversed in the placement view vs the front view vs the 3d view...or something, im confused.

Hello Warchitect, You are actually modelling on the opposite side of your placement face. See your reference level view. In your placement side view you are actually seeing your model geometry bcs your view is set to wireframe mode. Quick solution, unlless you are creating a model that is going to be used for much more inteligent analysis you might just place a Flip control on the plan view to easily mirror the family in your project.
