Hey everyone,
Hoping someone has the solution to a little problem I can't seem to figure out. I'm building out a family, and I have a series of voids cutting rectangles into an extrusion, essentially a bunch of drawers in a cabinet face. What I'm wanting to do, is be able to set the number of drawers I have as a parameter, which I can do through a parameter on the array. However, when I do that, I also want to be able to control the distance between each instance of the array which I cannot do since I cannot nest a void into the family. Does anyone have a way of making the distance between pieces of an array into a parameter? Or some sort of workaround that I'm not thinking of?Thanks in advance for any help!

Why not extrude pirpedicular to the face then you don't need voids, you can control it all through the sketch?

Oddly, I just came in to post that exact solution. Not sure why I didn't think of that sooner. I've got a nested drawer face family and then all the rails as an arrayed extrusion controlled by a couple formulas. Thanks for the help!
