Hi, I am on revit 2016, I have a very basic question, since I am a beginner. After I put all the architectural columns in the basement and created slab for the ground floor, on 3d view and plan view of the ground floor level, column tops are displayed on the slab from below, although most of them continue to upper floors , some dont. So this is a problem . How do I resolve this ? I obviously dont want them to stick out like that.

I'm not sure what you're showing with the images. The first image shows that the column tops can be seen through the floor. If this is the issue, the columns should be set from the basement floor to the floor above. Select the columns and attach them to the floor so that they join beneath the slab. They are currently going through the slab. The second image shows columns extending above the floor. I would suggest that you create different columns for each floor, rather than having columns that run from the basement to the top - just copy them up. This allows for easier scheduling and control of the columns.
