Hello,

I have been having an issue with the offset for my annotation leaders. When the text is on the right hand side of the structure and the leader is pointing to the left, the leader looks good with the text, however when the text is on the left hand side of the structure and the leader is pointing right there is a big gap between the start of the leader and the text. Does anyone know how to fix this to get rid of that gap?

If it doesn't print like it looks then it is probably your print driver.  We always used cutepdf.

Show us comparison views of what you are talking about.  Screen vs print.
