I'm an BIM designer. I was approched by our Civil and Tunneling department and they are asking if I could create them a Glass Reinforced Plastic Elbow fitting. I haven't created many families from scratch in Revit.

Has anyone seen a 3D CAD model, or Revit family of this type of elbow?

Does anyone have any reference to a tutorial site that could help me make this?

I don't do civil work so I'm not sure if my question is applicable.  Do you want an elbo that will automatically connect to Revit piping or just a model family?

If this is just a standard family, it would be relatively easy to model.  Just segmented extrusions.
