Revit 2017 - I am trying to place lights and ended up very confused. I place a ceiling it does not show in floor plan. I look in 3d and the ceiling is there. I place a ceiling fan in floor plan and it does not let me place it. If I go to 3d view I can place the fan and then return to floor plan and it shows. What am I missing in the placing of lights? Thanks Byron

Ceiling mtd lights and fans are placed from the reflected ceiling plan, not a floor plan.
