I am creating area plans, and the client needs to see the existing areas and new areas on the same plan.
Is there any way to separate them with a filter or something?
Creating different area schemes does not help me, because if i have a separate plan with existing areas, and a new plan showing the additions to the building, I cannot tag the existing area on the new plan.
What is the best way to do this?
Hope my question was clear.
Thank you

I've shown the actual room area and a "design area" for a client by creating a room tag that draws from the room area parameter and another parameter. I think I may have used the system "Occupancy" parameter for the "Design Area". Now the area that was in the Occupancy parameter was only dumb text that I typed in for each one, it didn't draw from an actual area. But it did the job.

This can't be a unique situation..
