SO I made a stair. and then ended up editing its width from 3 feet to four. The rails didn't adjust with it, so adjusted the path separately. But now, if you look at the pic, I cant get the rail to NOT do one of the two funky things. either, the horizontal railing at the landing is angled, shallowly, from the horizontal, or the whole rail lays flat as in the other side of the picture. Any suggestions?

Railings are always difficult but there are a few simple rules.
Pay attention to where your railing sketch is. It must be over the stair component to be hosted by it.
Pay attention to your railing sketch 'nodes'. (I used the term nodes to represent where the sketch is broken.) Changes in railing slopes only occur at these locations.
