Hi,

I have a plant component that uses an extrusion with a material to get its colour. The point of doing it this way is that I previously used fill regions with about 20 visibility boxes for different colours, whereas now I can create a material of any colour for each plant.  I still nest the detail component for centrepoint and lineweights of trees etc.

The problem I am having with the extrusion is that I cannot hide the edges (to look like 'Show Edges' is off, or an invisible fill region boundary) of only the plants.  There is no invisible line option, or option to turn off the edge without hiding the entire extrusion.  I have tried creating 'empty' line patterns to no success.

I can do this with the linework tool but don't want to manually hide all plant outlines

Attached image demonstrates the fine black line on each circle that I am trying to hide.  Any help appreciated.

I got dynamo to find these edges but I don't think I can change their style without knowing python.

Any help on changing edge line styles with dynamo appreciated.
