Got to front elevation, create tab, Forms section, Extrusion, Trace perimeter & holes of shape, click green tick icon in ribbon to finish, go to plan and click the extrusion you created and adjust its length to suit whatever width it is. Repeat the above for the inner webs. In plan select both shapes, rotate and move to correct orientation. Copy as required.

Revit 2017 - I hit another stump, How to rotate something about the x axis to have it stand up. I have attached the file agian and you can see that the cross is laying down. I need to stand it up and attach to the center door.

You have to go to the elevation view that is correct for the rotation orientation. It won't let you do it in a 3D view. Sometimes in models objects still won't rotate as they are associated with a certain plane. To disassociate that relationship, you copy the object and paste it and then rotate the duplicate object.
