Hi!
I want to make a new tag with a new ''comment field'' in the ''category Parameters'' under ''edit label'', in order to have two tags on the area plans, with different information on each one regarding the text..
I searched to make a shared parameter but on the plans it appears only the ? without possibility to edit it. I dont know if I made a mistake on choosing the right ''Category'' under ''parameter properties'', but after many attemts to make this kind of tag I failed.
Can anybody give me instruction how to make it?
Thank you in advance.

You need to thoroughly understand instance vs type parameters. If you want two different tags, you will need two different families, not two types.

Thanks for reply.
I can make a new family tag. Problem is (at least for my method) at when I will make the label of the new family tag, then I will ''edit'' the label of it and I will use the same ''comments'' (under ''category Parameters'') which also the first (original) family tag had. Then on my schedule but also on my plans both my family tags will take the same information (because both use the same ''comments''.
Or is it something I didnt understood correctly?
I must find a way to make a second ''comments'' (different from the original offcourse) in the (category parameters).

You need a different shared parameter then. Leave the 'comments' for your main tag but create a different one (different name too) for your new tag.

This is where I have problems.
I have made so many shared parameters these days but none of them give me the possibility to write on them. They stay on the plans like (? question marks). Plus I cant introduce them in my schedules and this is strange.
I put these shared parameters under Discipline : common and Type of parameter :text so the mistake must be somewhere else.
I dont know where I make the mistake.

Learn to use your HELP, it is a great resource.
Read this section and pay attention to the paragraph AFTER the numbered elements!

Hi.
I have searched already on Internet and I have seen also this artikel. My method to make tag is like their.
It must be something I mistake ''between the letters'' or even worse I cant make a new ''comments'' in the ''category parameters'' which gives me possibility to see it on area tags but also on schedule.

From that last line....
"You can then tag all doors with that tag, but the tag displays a value for Door Trim Finish only if the door has that shared parameter, otherwise a “?” appears in the tag.'
Door family must have the same shared parameter ....AND .... Shared Parameters are more than just a name!!!!
There is an alternative to editing the family.... look into how you load a shared parameter into a project and assign it to a category.

Thank you.
I think I am on the wright road. Maybe the so many shared parameters I made the last days made me chose a different one at some point and nothing worked till now.

There is one thing I dont understand in this process and maybe is also where I make a mistake.
IS THERE A DIFFERENCE between
Click New Annotation Symbol), select a template (such as, Door Tag.rft) and click Open.
The Family Editor opens.
AND
edit an existed tag of your project in order to make a new one??
I ask because its the first time I use this ''annotation symbol'' method.
