Hi everyone,

I want to link (live) measuring Data from e.g. strain gauges to my Modell in Revit, but i dont know how to start/what is the best way

What i want to get: Modell a family for e.g. strain gauge that is placed at a certain point in the modell. By selection the measuring point (with something like Dynamo or so) i get a window with data graphes, that show the trend of strain within the last week/day/live like the simple diagramms in Excel. I want to choose the Data i want to see.

Data is provided as a Excel Sheet (e.g Date/Time/Strain). My first intention was to usw dynamo to import the data into the Familiy, but in this way i cpuld just get the current measuring value. What about the Data history? Is there any way to implement a Graph in Revit where i can select my measuring point an select the data i want to see in a diagramm?

Or do you have a better Idea? (e.g. export to Desite and porgramm the Data connection there. Use ODBC?

Thank you for your Answers in advance :-)

Cheers

Alex
