Can someone tell me how to figure out how to create a filter that will turn off certain line with the same subcategory name from different families

we have ADA Clearance lines for kitchen and toilet fixtures that we want to see on the 1/4" plans, but not on the 1/8" and 1/16" plans

we'd like to set up a filter that can be used in the different views that can be turned on and off, not just through a template using visual Graphics, since there are multiple families containing these ADA lines with varying names of the subcategory for the ADA lines

The problem i see is that the Filter Rules don’t have the option to choose the name of a subcategory

anyone have any ideas??

Thanks!!

Jon

I don't see how you can do this by linetype, I can only see using sub category name.  And since your families were not built to any standard, that would be a problem.  I would fix the families and then use a template.

You can add "yes or no" visibility instance parameter to those lines and manage them kinda manually. Or try playing with coarse, medium and fine resolution asigment to them.
