Hi, I am drafting from a very old hand drawn file. Please see attachment 1, the original pdf drawing show a plan clip of the wall around structural column. I am trying to craete this, please see attachment 2, I have created a cavity double brick wall that extends through the steel column and the triangular profile added on as wall sweep.

The triangular projection in plan is the interior face of the wall. How do I make the internal leaf of the double brick wall to stop and start like the original pdf attachment 1? Please help.

You can try the edit cut profile tool.  Note that it only works in 2D.  Otherwise create a family for the column and wall section.

the cavity doesn't run past the column, its a single wall buildup on both sides. Cut your cavity either side of column, replace the centre cut out cavity with a single wall and clean up joints.
