So i've been trying to figure out a way to accomplish this for what feels like EVER. Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.
I do a lot of system connectivity diagrams. I often have devices that need to connect to another device on a different sheet OR elswhere on the same sheet (but there is no visual way to draw a conection between the two. I use tags with the device name and sheet number that it should be connecting to (see attached image).
Is there a way to make these tags "smart"? You can see now that I just have placeholders for the sheet numbers and then when i finish all the sheets I go back and tediusly fill them in. If I delete a device i need to track that through all the tags.
I've tried view reference tag/parameter but you cant place a reference to the same sheet. I'm happy to ammend the device family to add identifiers to make this work. Also, could this be done in dynamo.
