Designed in autocad, built on site.... now to be modeled in Revit :-(
For a Novice/Intermediate user, Anyone got any tips/advice before I begin.....?

You can make those balusters using a baluster family and include in it, everything but the rails and all those thin rods. Then you would make a profile family containing just a circle for the rails, add a radius of diameter dimension and make that a parameter so you can change the sizing. Then make a type in the profile family, one for the hand rail size and one for the wire/rod size. Then add rails into the railing family and adjust their locations so they match up with the baluster family you previously made.
The other way would be to make a model in place component.
