I scanned a colored image. used insert to bring it into a drafting view. Scaled the image to match plan (ie. 100%) then set the drafting view to 1/8"=1'-0"
but when I place that view on a sheet. its about twice the size it should be, not scaled in any way. see picture. note it doesnt fit on the sheet. Although the original base site plan this was taken from does. what am I missing? how can I get this to scale properly on the plan set?

How did you scale the image from the plan in a drafting view?
The scan size does not equal the original size - are you referring to this?
Otherwise, reduce the size of the image in the drafting view, reduce the scale of your drafting view, or increase the size of the sheet.
