created curtain wall to simulate raised seam metal siding, the 2x4 purlins behind are showing through on all elevations(2d/3d) there are no transparancies and the material is a solid. I think its just because the material is too thin? When you zoom in it does not show through at all. Does anyone have a work solution for this?

You would have to move your material out from the purlins.
Did you look at other solutions? Using a material is far superior to what you did.
