I cannot draw any line in the Z axis or measure vertically in the 3D view!! It's probably something super simple but it's driving me crazy!! Please help!! I thought it could be the work plane but I changed it and it didn't work... Also when I'm in the measure tool I can only select vertical elements like a column but nothing horizontal like a beam.

You are partly correct in that you cannot use the measure tool in a 3D view. You can however place a dimension after you set the correct workplane.

Thank you but today I tried to figure it out and I realized that it has to do with the work plane, I tried to disable it but I can't do it, even when I draw model lines I can only draw them flat. Also all of them are drawn in the workplane level.
How can I reset the work plane to default?
Thank you.

I've tried, I read before posting this, I'm sorry for wasting your time with something this simple, but everything I try is useless. When I draw a line the workplane constraint is greyed out, also after I draw it i cannot dissociate it (I've read that this means that the element is not currently associated with a work plane) but still I can only work in the current workplane and I can't work it out.
Either way... Thank you I guess.

Hi all, Im sorry for post the wrong question here but I dont know how to create a new threat. I created a locker unit with 18 compartments, I would like to have a schedule that can count both compartment also locker unit on the same line, is there any ways to do that? I would like to send the img to clearify my wish. Thanks all.

Oh, im sorry, I was just saying you have to reset it by setting it again to the respective floor level, either by name or picking the modeled floor

manhrung,
You can count the number of your main family, then in the schedule, add a new calculated field to do as you show.
