I have created a steel plate family and placed it embedded into the surface of my precast concrete wall panel.
The plate is on the interior face of the panel, while the elevation view is of the exterior face. Is there a way to have these plates show on the elevation as hidden?
Thanks!

Option 1: Good if only in 1 or 2 views, and only a few emeds
turn on wireframe mode on, use the Linework Overide tool and change them to a dashed line. Go back to hidden line mode. You should see them dashed.
Option 2: Good if in multiple views and more than 1 or 2 embeds.
Edit the family, create a reference plane to represent the wall face. Create a paramater to offset that work plane. Draw model dashed lines in elevation on a the new reference plane. Create a new category and place those lines on it so you have control on when you see them and do not.
