The 3d view for the file that I'm working in is grey and I can't get the color to come back unless I create new elements.  Any thoughts on how to get color back into the 3d view?  Color helps me with making sure materials/components are modeled correctly.

Revit will always show walls differently based on their angle in the view.  If the wall is black straight on, it will be grey when turned to an angle.

Sorry, I should elaborate.  The view was previously in color when in shaded mode and now when in shaded mode it looks like the screenshot.  If I model new items such as a wall sweep (baseboard that is brown in the right side of the screenshot) the view shows the new items in color but not the older items.  I toyed with the detail levels, display option types and it's not either of these.  That patterened surface in the screenshot is typically blue.  The walls are not black and it's not a just displaying like this because the materials are grey and the walls are black.

What about a fresh new 3D view?
