Hello. My searches for info on this topic have not answered my question, so sorry if this is a repeat. I am a new user to Revit and am learning on my own as I go.
I am creating indoor field-house seating, circular, by using a wall sweep profile. I have several areas where the lower walls transect the seating area and the sweep need sto be cut to reflect this. I have tried to create a void using a lines traced at the proper cutting-wall faces, but I am unable to get anything to work. The void is not created as it doesn't intersect object.
See the attached PDF - The green lines to the left are copies of the tracing I am using to create my void form.
Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated. Links to existing reference material are welcome.
Thanks for your attentiuon.

If you remade it as an inplace family and used void shapes to cut the revolved solid that should work.

Thank you, but I am unclear as to which element needs to be remade. The rotated wall sweep, or the void form? I just tried both and neither allowed me to finish the process. I am afraid it may be how I am approaching the problem - my lack of experience is messing with my set-up.
Is there an on line video tutorial that walks through a setup procedure? I have looked but haven't found anything That helped, but maybe I am using the wrong search terms.

Beau's suggestion is to not use wall sweeps. A better and far easier solution is to use an in-place family - a rotated form, then to use your void to cut that.

OK, I see now. I just needed two people to explain it - that is often true for me. Thank you both!
