Oh man is Revit kicking my curse today ! GRRR! I made a door family, and i just want the curse partial-height door to be plywood or wood material. i added a parameter and named it "Plywood" but when i went to choose a material, plywood, nor wood, is an option, in fact, i only get a few different options, and normaly i have many. I know it is an option, because i have used it elsewhere! Please advise! i dont know why my Material Browser is saying 'Glass"?! Did i create the parameter wrong?! any advise again, GREATLY APPRECIATED !

I think you are confusing yorself. Doors typically have named components like glass, frame, panel, hardware etc. And you assign the material to these. In this case, I would name it panel and assign the material plywood instead of <by category>
