My problem is when I'm in a parking garage or Level 1 of a building that has many different slab elevations, I can't seem to export or set the view range in an order to clip the cut horizontally to capture all of my equipment or I get my equipment cut off. Because of the ramps and elevation differences I have to either set the view range big enough to capture more than I want to see or go through and hide everything that I don't want to see. I work in the electrical field and do a bunch of in slab routing of conduit and this has been a huge struggle since I can't control this. If I could use a section to clip out the different slab elevations and just show what I need to show that would be ideal. It's the area's that have a double high ceilings like the generator room or main electrical rooms of the building that I can't seem to control without hiding a bunch of stuff.
Thanks,
Brian Jones

Check this out and pay attention to the IF in this line.
"....In the View Range dialog, specify the primary range and view depth.
If the value for Cut Plane is specified as Parent View’s Level, then the level used to define all the clip planes (Top, Bottom, Cut, and View Depth) is the same as for the entire plan view....."
