Hello Allas you will see in the attached pic, i was able to modify the system families for the framing elevation tag, however the problem i am having is locking the labels to remain horizontal regardless of orientation of the framing tag. obviously i do not have an issue with the tag if the framing elevation is either vertical or horizontal. I have tried adding a angle parameter to lock the angle but i think the angle is getting locked to the reference plane in the family itself. I have also tried using the parameter within the original family to fix the position but to no avail.I have gotten everything to work in the tag except the labelsI am hoping all the revit gurus out there can provide some guidance as how to fix thisThanks in advance

Thanks in advance
Regards

I don't understand why you did this. The standard tag always remains normal and you could have modified that to have this look.

well as you know every company has their own set standard and sometimes the OTB families are not sufficient or desired, that is why we all spend time modifiying system families to suit the company and how they want to show things.
so in my case the OTB framing elevation tag was not desired and they wanted to show it differently as shown in the pic originally up loaded.
Moving forward, as mentioned before i have gotten everything to work but i want to keep the text and the line inside the circle horizontal.
while the orientation of the text is not preferred, it is accepted until I can find a way to fix it, unless someone out there can guide or provide me a solution
Thanks in advance

I think you miss-understood. The OTB tag text and line always remains horizontal which is what you say you want. Just modify that to include the other corners of that pointer.

sorry i misread.
yes if i check off the fixed position box in the system family the text remains the same. it is the line within the circle that i am having trouble keeping horizontal.
