hello, revit 2018.1 trying to use the split precast tool.
so i make a precast wall then set it to structural usage and in the floor plan it dissapears.
i go to 3-d view and its there. i pick a wall to split and i get the message "could not idenify the precast element type?"
i have went over the autodesk help for this, but still no luck.
anybody know how this works????

Properties box > Discipline > change to either coordination or Structural
It will hide because it is probably set to Architectural
Edit: Also when splitting precast panels, I use Split with Gap tool
