Hello there,

I'm using Revit 2017 for a couple of monthes now, but i don't know how to deal with this issue and didn't find any helpful thread,

I created a stair using the component tool between two defined levels. It is a 2 flights-stair with one landing.

Once created, i tried to manually reduce the width of it, or move it and i couldn't. So i tried to delete it to make a new one but i can't, neither edit it.

Delete line is shaded in contextual menu and the delete button is shaded too.

I can still go back to earlier versions of the project but i'd have lost a day of work and i'd really like to know if someone is facing this too or have any idea about what i can do about it.

Thank you for your understanding

If you built the two flights and landing as one stair, then you have to select the whole stair to delete it.   But you shold be able to independently edit a run width... do it from the plan.

Selecting the whole stair doesn't allow me to delete it. The stair is invisible in plan view, i can only see it when i activate underlays in my plan view.

Weird thing is i can't see it in cut but when my mouse overlap it, it highlights as if it were drawed (see pic linked).

I think it's like the stair is still in "edit mode" but Revit isn't. So i have kind of a ghost stair.

This case we can delete it by using Stair:Run and Stair:Landing schedule.
