Thanks,

We really don't like a traditional 'library'. Instead, we use a few 'Resource Projects'.
Example library projects are std walls, doors, windows, roof elements, toilet room, patterns. To use these, you load the library project up side by side with your project.
In the library project, model elements or details are organized on 'sheets' that you view.
- Std walls are wall legends fully noted - sheeted according to structure - Metal Stud, Wood Stud, Mas etc. Copy/paste the legend onto your wall legend sheet and you get the wall definition at the same time.
- Doors / widows/ plumbing fixtures are show on sheets that have plan/elevation/3d views as well as schedule so you can easily VISUALLY pick the correct element from a multiple of ones all on the same sheet.
- True 2D details are also on sheets organized by similarity. To use, find it then use 'Import from project'.
- Model patterns are shown as filled regions in a view on a sheet. Copy the region into your project and you get the pattern as well as a defined filled region.
