HI; I am a new revit user and I made the mistake of chosing my thesis topic on vegetation in BIM.

So I am trying to figure out how green walls, roofs, indoor vegetation, potted plants etc are modelled in Revit  and how are they proccessed for energy simulation or life cycle assessment later.

Basicly I want to find out what kind of information current models/databases carry other than 3D.

I tried to find a database about vegetation but could not find much.

Do you have any suggestions on how I should do my research?

Walls, floors, roofs are made up of materials and those materials have fields that contain energy data. See attached images. Not sure about potted plants as I've never used them beyond a rendering requirement.

REVIT has a built in Energy Analysis tool however to get accurate results the model has to be just about perfect with all the info ready and an air tight model with no leaks.
