Hi,
I'm created some existing and proposed plans.
Most walls on the plan are Created in Existing and not demolished.
Some are created in Existing and Demolished in New Construction
A couple are created in New Construction and not demolished.
Some of the room change names and so there are two sets of room objects in the model, one linked to Existing phase and one linked to New Construction Phase with the new names.
To create the existing plan I want to show the existing names and so the phase filter is set to 'Existing', but I also want to display the areas of demolition - I can't seem to do this.
'Show Previous + Demo' seems to do this, but to display I plan I have to set the Phase filter to 'New Construction' which then displays the 'New Construction' names - which I don't want.
What I need is the ability to create a plan set to 'Existing' and display demolitons from the 'New Construction' phase.
Is this possible?

You cannot set to 'Existing' and display demolitons from the 'New Construction' phase. I use the Show Previous + Demo and manually turn the elements you don't want to see off or override their graphic display in one way or another. Not sure how the rooms will react in your case however.

Please keep in mind that all annotations such as room names and door tags are phase dependent; which means that you have to switch to “Existing” phase to place those for existing rooms and doors. However, the walls and doors to be demolished would be shown as solid lines in that view. Then, you have to use “Linework” tool changing them to demolished lines in the “Existing” view. Otherwise, you have to create non-associated room tags and door tags, which I don’t like.
