Hello guys,
I'm really frustrated to get this to workout in Revit instead of building the Massing in Rhino and them bring it into Reivt all the time.
Basically, this is a facade study for a project. So the solution should be accomodating and adaptive to future minor changes. In plan (see attached) all edges are arcs and they extrude up with different lengths so that in elevation you will see the curvature of the facade. There's also one corner that is a sweep condition where it changes 3 dimensionally. (see attachments)
What I have right now is the massing file from Rhino and I attached Curtain Systems onto the massing. But the problem is everytime we try to change the massing slightly I would have to model it in rhino first and fix all the surface direction issues and the UV issues and then bring it back to Revit. It's been quite hectic. Another problem of this approach is that since there are different types of the curtain walls but then they dont line-up with each other. I have also tried to build the in-place massing and then the curtain wall grids dont stay straight to the x and y axis (we are trying to get the trimmed edges instead of the pattern behavior in Revit).
I dont know what will be the best solution do this and if anyone has an experience on similar situation please help!

Have you tried massing it in REVIT ? then using the wall, floor, roof 'by face' tools. They will update after you modify the REVIT Mass.

using adaptive components would be useful if changes are going to take place. a
