Hi All..

Im having an issue that im sure many people have come up against.

I cannot for the life of me get the light source to show up in a render. The fixture illuminates the scene just fine but the light source isnt showing.

CAn anyone help with this issue ( was gonna say "can anyone shed any light  on this " lol )

I love Revit but its been an uphill climb today  and im still pretty green with this software.

The material of the lens of your fixture has to be set to self illuminate.

Thanks for the reply. Whilst i was scrabbling around for the answer I found it in my visibility settings. Now the light source shows perfectly. I also edited the family for this generic troffer light and lifted the light source up into the fixture a bit which made it look a bit better too.

I will look into your method though as I need to learn more about materials . Thankyou again for your reply.
