Many possible reasons but you have not given us any history.
- Element over-rides in view
- material settings

Check out what I listed before and look for a template.
Are you sure the walls are even on?

You have some sort of filter applied or the wrong materials assigned, it is a user setting somewhere. It could be a phase filter it could be an over-ride.
We can only help if you give us enough information. Did you create this project?
Show us the properties for the transparent walls. Then show us the material settings for those walls.

I had a similar problem on one of my projects. In my case, it was the phase filter that was set to "Show All". I changed it to "Show Complete" or "Previous plus New" and it fixed it. Just a thought.

I was having the same problem with walls showing up as transparent when the view filter was set to "show complete". when i looked at the finish material on the wall, i discovered that in the material browser, the material graphics had a transparency set under the graphics tab. once this was set to 0, the problem went away.
