Hi, I am in need of some help, the problem i am having is that on most of my revit drawings when i either save a job or close the window revit pops up with a message and closes, the message says;
Autodest Revit has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I dont believe that the RVT files are broken, or over complicated that it would make revit shut down everytime.
Do any of you guys have a solution?
Many Thanks
Calman

Some people may be able to help if you provide information we should not have to ask for.
- Revit issue and updates
- Your equipment / operating system - available disk storage
- Your file size
- Are you closing from tiled windows?

- Revit issue and updates Not sure but i am up to date according to the autodesk manager.
- Your equipment / operating system - available disk storage Windows 10 we are working from a network with 561gb free storage
- Your file size Its all files so cant give you all the sizes but range from 1mb - 23mb.
- Are you closing from tiled windows? Yes
I hope this helps a little, im not very computer technical, I have a feeling it is a Windows 10 thing as this never happened on Windows 7.

First - get up to date.
You say you are working on a network.
- Are you using work sharing?
- Is this a local file being saved on a network? (Should not save lovcals on network)
- If worksharing, you have to give Revit time to update the central before closing your local.
- Closing files from tiled windows results in a very big file size. It is always best to close all windows but one before saving. We actually closed from a very small view that described the project.
