I need to model a solid concrete roof that slopes in one direction. the roof is 36" thick at the low point and thicker at the high point. What is the easiest and/or quickest way to do this? I was going to create the roof by extrusion but not sure if that will give me the different thickness. I'm using Revit 2016.
Thanks.

Create a new roof type. In the Edit Assembly layers start with 36" of concrete as one layer and put another layer of concrete on top of that. The top layer can be any thickness. Check the box that says variable.
Now draw a flat roof. Once finished hit "modify sub elements" and go to work changing the thickness of the top piece.
When you cut through it you should not see a line between the two layers as long as they are the same material. You can add other layers on top for insulation, roofing etc.
