not sure why the material isnt showing up during the render even though i have added in the material, could really use some help!

No infromation provided. You problem is probably your settings and what you call a render may just be a perspective view. Read your HELP.
I deleted your duplicate thread. Please post in only one location. Most of us use the today's posts rather than by forum so we see all posts.
