I am trying to map autocad shx fonts to Revit. The help file... http://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2017/ENU/?guid=GUID-87119589-ADE4-41AD-A796-3EB3C1DDDA82 ...says to find this file: "shxfontmap.txt "
I can't find it anywhere. The path they reference it being located at ...
"AutoCAD SHX fonts are stored in the following location: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD <release>\Fonts+
... does not exist. I have searched the entire computer for "shxfontmap.txt". Nothing.

NO.... The mapping is done in the RVT files depending on your issue.
To map fonts, edit shxfontmap.txt using a text editor. This file resides in the following location: %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Revit 2017
