Hi!

I made custom profiles for the stair that I'm working on. Everyting works fine in section views. But because it is a profile, it only sweeps along the edge of the stair I guess. But 'default' tread profile covers all the area. How can I achieve this with my customized profile? I attached the screenshots.

Default_Tread: It shows partially what I want to achieve in 3D. Tread covers all the winder stair areas.

Stair_Tread Profile: Undesired 3D which resulted because of the customized profile.

Any help is much appreciated.Thanks.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Did you have any luck finding a solution?

First, you can open “Stair Nosing – Pan” in Families under “Profiles”. Modify it to any shape you like.

Then, see the attached picture, you can change the Nosing Profile to the name you just created.

Play with it. Just keep in mind that the nosing is placed along the front of the tread.
