They don't seem to have a common name for these popular buggers but basket seems to be the most common.
How would you render it to show the light correctly? Nothing I have tried works. Most available ones don't even drop in an ACT ceiling. They are face based. Talk about time consuming to put these in.
I wish the manufacturers would make correct lighting for these.

When you turn the light on for rendering, it totally washes the geometry away. It is just a flat plane of light. Maybe if I photoshop (waste of time) it in..... It shows up (off) when the lightsource is turned off
My boss is obsessed with making things look like the real deal even though it is in a bathroom.
These lighting companies should have figured out a plug and play nice nice method to sell their products.
