Hey,I am using Revit 16. I would like to edit a door family in a projectfile. When I double click on the door I get the message "cant edit family" Does anyone know how to make the family editable?

Something else going on here.
Where did you get this family?
Find the family in your project browser nd see if you can pick it from there to edit it. You may be double clicking on something else in the project.

Almost looks like that is the wall that is selected in blue in your screenshot...

Thanks, I will try it out when I get back to work on Monday.
I have modelled the door family - I have more or less changed everything in it. I dont know where it originally came from. It was allready in the projectfile, when I startet on the project.
It has been working great the last 5 month until now.
I´ve had 4 "fatal error" incidents this week - I dont know if there is a link between the two?

@Archigrafix, There is a quite wide bottom plate in the door - 8 cm
