Hi there,
Currently running Revit 2017 on Windows 10.
Just wanting to get everyones thoughts & advice on how they go about adding an Architects signature to a titleblock when it is being prepared for issue.
I understand that Revit family parameters do not allow a "Tick Box" function for turning on/off images in the titleblock family.
We've looked at a few scenarios & we thought the best way to display the signature is by having a scan of that in a .jpg format which gets imported into the titleblock family. Only problem is we don't want that signature on any preliminary drawings, BUT, as I stated before, revit does not allow a turn on/off parameter for images.
Only solution I could think of was having two titleblocks, one for Prelim & one for issue, however that would become time consuming changing the titleblock for every sheet within a project.
Any thoughts or suggestions or advice is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Not sure what the process is for stamping drawings is where you are but where I am in Canada the Architect has to date and sign the seal so when we are ready for tender we scan the signed and dated seal and then put it in the drawings and then delete it right after. This also ensures there is not a digital copy of the stamp floating around in the drawings that we do not want others having when we distribute the revit model if needed.

hello,
Insert your JPG in to a symbol, then get it in to the sheet family, at that level you'll be able to have a YES/NO parameter
Enjoy!
