Hello,
I'm new to Revit, but not new to Autodesk. I'm just curious, how are these models made? Take a car for example: when I download a car from RevitCity and it to my Revit Project, it is incredibly detailed. I can't imagine such models are made in Revit.
Do you make it in 3DS Max or Maya first, then export it as a file type compatible with Revit? Or is it possible to make detailed models in Revit?
Thank you!

Revit is a BUILDING modeling program. As such, it does not do well with soft or mesh type of surfaces. So as you suggested, most cars are modeled in another program and typically brought into a family in a compatable file format.
