Hello
I am a full-time student and my teacher is too busy to help so I am turning to Revitcity for help. I have been using Revit for almost 2 years now. I like the program for the most part, but I am getting frustrated with it right now because parts keep disappearing or I get lots and lots of the same part. Not sure exactly what I am doing or not doing to make this happen.
Right now my main problem is my grids. When I first started this drawing I laid out grid lines and all was well. Now my grids only show up on one out of three of my floor plans. I have checked the hide elements and they are not hidden. I don't know how to get my grids back on all of my drawings that require them. My teacher will take points off if my drawing is missing elements.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Levels and grids have 3 dimensions. If the grid or level is not cut by the view plane, then it is not there and will not be shown. The easiest way for a beginner to start dealing with this is to cut two sections right through tyhe middle of your project top to bottom and side to side. Now go to each of these views and look where your grids and levels end.
Remember, there are 2D and 3D settings for these elements. If you click and you see a 3D, then when you adjust the elements, it will adjust to where you pull it spatially but it still can be over-ridden in any view. If you click on the 3D, it will change to 2D and you can adjust the element for that view only. This will not transfer to any other view.

I looked at my section views and my grids are all visible in those views. I have tried copy/paste, but they come in with different numbers and letters in the bubble. I am really stuck here. I don't know what is wrong. I have tried changing the view depth and that didn't work.
I really don't understand what you mean about the 2D and 3D stuff.
EDIT/UPDATE----I finally figured out what I did wrong and fixed my problem. I shortened my grid lines in elevation view so in turn they disappeared in plan view. All is well. Thanks

Please reread my answer. I did not ask if they were visible, I explained how to set them so they were in your other views. We try tp help but we can't do this for you.
BTW - I am assuming that all grids are in the same workset, phase and have not been hidden in the view in question.
