to be able to do more/more acurate work in 3d... for more complex architecture. i'd hate to say it, but more sketch-up -like... if sketch-up can do it... revit can... being able to creat an object on the "ground" and rotate it into place, being able to align certain heights across the model in 3d... etc... more intuitive and more like your building a model rather than building a model from 2d drawings...
